Hi I'm Valerie, a PhD Chemical Engineer! I love interacting with technical professionals to innovate and improve work performance and situations for the better. I have held a wide variety of positions from research and development to process engineering, business process redesign, innovation, eBusiness, and reporting to the CEO as the inaugural Head of Sustainability for our North America operations across businesses in material science, pharmaceuticals, and crop science. I have amassed over 10,000 hours of experience as a team leader over my 25-year corporate career with two different multinational chemical organizations. In 2013, I became a Certified Professional Facilitator and have since accumulated over 10,000 hours of experience as a professional facilitator with a wide variety of organizations. I share my experiences in my 2021 book from Career Press titled When Bad Teams Happen to Good People: Your Complete Repair Guide for Successful Teamwork.
