Phil Tenaglia, M.A. is a licensed psychologist, school psychologist and family therapist. He has over 30 years of experience in working in classrooms and schools, working collaboratively to support teachers and students. He has served in both regular and special education settings, specializing in consultation, counseling and crisis intervention. Phil's approach is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Training (ACT). ACT is an evidenced-approach grounded in science that seeks to promote valued living and reduce suffering. He is also a certified ACT Matrix practitioner and conducts onlne training for individual practitioners, businesses and organizations worldwide. In 2016 Phil was named the school psychologist of the year by the New Jersey Association of School Psychologists for his innovative work in the schools.
