I am a Latinx bilingual licensed psychologist dedicated to supporting people from diverse cultural and economic background as they cultivate their own resilience building practices. I use my experience working with patients to determine how to best facilitate the development of a healthy mind/body. The human psyche is beautifully complicated. It can create for us moments of exhilarating joy and excruciating pain. The key to maximize joy and minimize pain is very different for each individual. It is important to have a wide range of resilience building practices to draw from in order to create individualized self-care plans. I hope to help you use dance therapy, and trauma informed Yoga and Meditation to help you heal the pain stored in your body.
I realize the importance that movement has in the process of maximizing joy, I have also see how it can reduce pain. I hope to help you find the kind of movement that helps you improve you overall emotional health.
