I have been a middle and high school band director and busy mom for over 30 years and I help music educators find a healthier balance between their personal and professional lives.

Having experienced the joys of teaching along with health issues that come as the result of stress, exhaustion, and 14-hour work days, I wrote my first book, I Love My Job but It’s Killing Me as a guide for teachers to take control of their own health. My second book, Love the Job, Lose the Stress takes the principles from the first book and applies them to the classroom.

The techniques I teach to my students, clients, and music teachers all over the world have been used before and during the pandemic to help educators and students minimize the impact of stress on their emotional, mental, and physical health.
