Background Info about this course
The Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares) ("the Law") entered into force on July 6, 2010.
The Law only applies to private individuals or legal entities that process personal data, and not to the government, credit reporting companies governed by the Law Regulating Credit Reporting Companies, or persons carrying out the collection and storage of personal data exclusively for personal use where is not disclosed for commercial use. Further, Mexican Privacy Law also does not generally apply to business-to-business data.

Optional Official Exam to obtain Certificate of Completion (CoC) and Certificate of Registration (CoR)
All students can opt for doing an official GADPPRO Academy (pass or fail multiple choice) exam for this course. For this, an additional due of 100 USD is applicable which includes the exam fee, certificate of completion dues, and certificate of registration dues. This exam can be scheduled by the subscribers themselves. At the request of the student, details will be provided by GADPPRO Academy Exam Services.
After passing the national privacy law exam, candidates will be issued a GADPPRO Academy Certificate of Completion (CoC) plus a Certificate of Registration (CoR) in the EU Register of Data Protection Professionals (EU-RDPP).
