In this 8-Week Course, we will review all the essential mathematical concepts and skills needed to be successful on the Math SAT test. In addition, students will also learn test-taking strategies that will immensely help them to improve their scores, fluency, and speed.
When you sign up you will receive a 20 Year Veteran Math Teacher and Math Coach who loves facilitating the learning process of her students.
Course Layout
The class will meet weekly to practice/explore problems, strategies, and time-saving techniques. Throughout the week, students will complete assignments personalized to their goals in their own math accounts that I provide. Other assignments will have a video tutorial coupled with corresponding SAT-level problems. At the end of the class, the students will be familiar with Algebra 1, 2, Geometry, and Trigonometry concepts needed to be successful and they will understand the test format better.

Requirements
This course is for students in 8th-12th grade who are preparing to take the Math SAT exam. The class has been created to allow differentiation in the class among the group members in order to allow each student to benefit greatly.

TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator (strongly recommended)
Evaluation and Feedback
We will use practice tests and informal evaluations. Different strategies and techniques will be discussed to give the students different perspectives.
