Course Description

Do you want to learn English from the beginning but don't know where to start? Are you an English beginner and do you need an instructor in helping you along learning basic English?

In this tuition, you will start learning English from zero and have a strong foundation of basic English grammar and vocabulary with the help of a book and your private instructor helping hand-in-hand. At the end of each 60 minutes lesson, you will:

• learn and improve your English reading, writing, and listening skills
• communicate in formal and informal basic English 
• know relevant English phrases to use in daily lives
• understand familiar names, words, and very simple sentences
• interact in English and improve English speaking skills

About the Instructor

KARINA NIELSEN

My name is Karina and I live in south Sweden close to the border of Denmark. I am an educated language teacher and speak native Swedish danish and fluent English. I also speak german at a middle level and Spanish at a beginner level. For more than 20 years I have worked as a teacher in many forms. That includes working in both Denmark and Sweden.

I have worked in elementary school with children and young people from the age of 6 to 14. I have also worked with teaching young people with special needs, alone coming immigrants arriving in Sweden from Syria, Somalia, and many more countries. I also am highly experienced with working online with all ages, from young children to elderly grown-ups. I bid welcome to all people, no matter what country in the world you come from.

I am a certified teacher educated at the University of Lund in Sweden. My work experience and education are broad, which means that I can contribute with many things that extend beyond the teaching profession. I am an open, energetic, warm, and flexible person and I have recently started my own business, KNTeach.org where I offer private/group tuitions in Swedish, Danish, English, German and Spanish. I also offer help with transcriptions, proofreading, interpretation, writing CVs and personal letters for job searching and translations. I am open to all sorts of writing and teaching.

But mostly, I teach online which I will do here on LearnDesk. I do teachings in many forms, so do not be afraid to reach out to me, if there is another way you wish for, for example how I make the group constellations, the overall setup on my page, or any other thought you might have.
