This tutorial is intended for when you have completed the tasks from one of the lessons on the course, How to Move Forwards with the First Draft of Your Novel. Some of you may not feel you need feedback on the tasks, in which case you can proceed to the next lesson.
Students who would feel more confident with some feedback and discussion of the tasks can schedule a one-to-one tutorial. You will be expected to send me your responses to the tasks from the lesson at least 24 hours before your scheduled tutorial time, to allow me to review the work before the tutorial. I recommend that you use the Word file which lists the tasks, and add your responses in the same file, if possible. The instructions in the Word file of the tasks specify any additional materials you need to send, for example if you need to send a chapter of your novel for me to be able to review your responses to the tasks in context. Your work will be kept confidential and only discussed with you.
During the tutorial, I will provide you with specific feedback on your work and you can ask any questions you may have related to revising your novel.
Requirements
You will need to send me your work at least 24 hours before the scheduled tutorial time, in Word format. Please include any content requested in the Word file of instructions for the lesson's tasks and specify clearly in your email which lesson's tasks you need feedback on, e.g., the 'Knowing Your Novel' lesson. Please note that it is only possible to give feedback on one lesson's tasks in a tutorial.
