Crucial skills in communication are tied up within the voice—clearly spoken words to get the message across efficiently, a pleasant voice, an accent that is interesting, but one that does not obscure the words, as well as an indication of our polite and professional attitude in terms of vocal tone and emphasis to highlight the meanings of words.

Competent vocal skills are essential to communicate critical information, negotiating, present, persuade, and pacify others. This intensive 16-hour course uses diagnostic tests, focused exercises, and fun activities to give you a chance to become aware of your vocal faults and learn techniques to correct them. This will allow you to develop better vocal skills so that you can speak to customers and colleagues with confidence, effectiveness, and impact.

The course includes six 2-hour core modules and four 90-minute individual coaching sessions. You can take more individual coaching sessions if you feel you need them. We cover articulation (the sounds of the language), word pronunciation, sentence stress, and emphasis as well as intonation and other aspects of voice modulation. By the end of the course, you will have prepared and produced a number of recordings of voicework you have made to demonstrate your improvement. In addition, I provide you with a report from your coaching for continuing practice after the course.
