During this 3 week's series, you will learn about drug addiction, facts, and how herbal medicine can be used effectively in mitigating harmful side effects and behaviors.
You will get an overview of the range of actions of stimulants, hypnotics, hallucinogens, opiates, steroids, and sedatives, learning their qualities and their drug-herb interaction. Our aim is to give you a better understanding of the outcomes of THC and CBD as well as to know the nuances and side effects of various addictive substances. Learn the pathway and mechanism of action of alcohol, fentanyl, tobacco, cocaine, psilocybin, peyote, and ayahuasca to better formulate your approach to integrated management and the herbs that should or should not be used with them in the recovery process.
This is truly a journey from used and abused to knowledge and power.
With over 20 years in clinical practice and over 10 years of teaching for the University of New Mexico, Sonia Masocco, brings a wealth of information to her students, making information digestible, current, and applicable.
