The course is designed to motivate and engage individuals; the parent, teacher, coach, leader and learner to understand the learning process, apply and master the most effective strategies to increase memory and skills while in the learning process and pursue excellence at all times. The course addresses a framework that promotes empowerment - creating conditions in which one can act on their own behalf. Week 1: Brain Physiology 101 and The Primary and Secondary Needs of Your Brain
First, a foundational understanding of the complex, dynamic, integrated approach based on the processes, chemistry, and influences of the brain, as well as, the environment.
Week 2: Empowerment Model - Motivation and Engagement
Second, a look at strategies and techniques from the Empowerment Model. These strategies encourage engagement, stimulate curiosity and provide measurable outcomes and results. These strategies are simple yet effective.
Week 3: The Three Facilities of the Mind and the 12 Essential Brain Responsive Elements
Third, the framework of brain responsive teaching, parenting, and coaching lead the 3 faculties of the mind; emotion, cognition and reflection and the twelve essential elements of The Brain Responsive Approach™.
Week 4: Success Principles for Learning and Teaching
The twelve essential brain-responsive elements are the foundation for success and achievement at any level.
Week 5: Brain Responsive Strategies
Fifth, Brain responsive strategies are specific to how the brain learns and grows best. These are easy to apply and create little resistance.

Action Research
Knowing the direction to go, the approach to use, and how to reflect on the strengths, and develop new plans for more progress are included.
