Hello, this is Rob coven. I am a passionate proponent of self publishing. I believe everyone that has a business should write their own book. I believe everyone should write a book. It's been one of the best things I've done in business. And I've written eight books now.

Most of them have become bestsellers. But why do I want to do this? Now, the reasons might come as a surprise. There are many reasons. For example, it's great to say I've written a book. But that's not the best reason at all.

Of course, it affords you a certain amount of kudos. You can say, look, read my book. I've written a book on this. Well, isn't that great? That's not the reason I write books. It could be about money.

That would be a good idea. You I certainly make money from my books. I still sell books that are wrote three years ago on the Kindle Store. But that's not the reason I write books. They only give me about $2 every time they are bought. The real reason I write books and the reason that I would suggest any business owner should write a book is to put people towards your website and encourage them to sign up to your email list.

It's all about getting eyeballs on your books, but more importantly, eyeballs on your business and to increase your brand online. There's no better place to do that than the Amazon Kindle platform. Amazon is the world's or the western world's most successful website. It's where people go to shop. They are on Amazon, looking to buy things. They want to buy things from you.

And then On the Kindle Store, because they are readers, and they want stuff to read, and they can look in certain categories and find reading materials on subjects that they want to read about, they've got money and they want to give it to you. And this is why it's so powerful. You have all those customers out there, and getting them onto your brand onto your website is very easy, because they're on Amazon in the buying mode. And that's why I write books. I don't write books to make money. I make money by getting the customers off Amazon onto my website.

And I'll show you how I do that. There are very many ways, the most important way is to give them an offer at the beginning of the book, where they can get something for free. And they go to the web address. That's there right at the beginning. That goes to your website, they see the free offer and they don't think twice about giving you their email address when they get that free offer. And therefore, they are in your email sequence, you then back up with a number of quality, valuable emails to give them even more information about what it is they're interested in.

And then you can sell services, then you can sell products. And then you can sell consulting or whatever it is. You want to make money from your business. You can sell them through the Kindle and the paperback and the audio book that you have on Amazon. So that's what this course is all about. I hope you enjoy it.

I can show you how to become an Amazon bestseller. To be honest with you. It's not that difficult once you know how it's just a matter of choosing an easy category and getting a few sales every day. That's not what it's all about. But you do have that kudos of having written a book having written an Amazon bestseller Having a little bit of extra money coming in every month, it's not the real reason. The real reason is to get customers email addresses so you can sell to them higher priced products at a future date.
