DESCRIPTION: If you put effort into one thing, I would want it to be posture. Sounds silly right? Well, it's because posture actually dictates what muscles are in the position to work based on their relationship to gravity. For this reason, posture is everything. You can literally do glut and core exercises your whole life but without being in the right posture, you will only be strengthening your hip flexors and low back.
During pregnancy, your posture will inherently change and there is no preventing that but you can work on preventing yourself from sinking any further into it than you absolutely have to. This means that the postural correction will become harder and harder as you get more and more pregnant but the effort is worth it in that you will a) have better posture than you otherwise would b) have a lot of practice at it so you have an easier time finding it again in postpartum.
