DESCRIPTION: In this quick lecture, I am going to give you a brief rundown on what to expect as you work through this course. This course is all about how to prevent relapse so we’ll kick it off with some basics such as HALT, a fun acronym to use anytime you feel triggered, then we’ll jump right into the meat of it. We’ll be discussing your physical health, which includes your fitness, nutrition, sleep, triggers, and post-acute withdrawal syndrome. Then we’ll talk about your psychological health which includes your mental health, spirituality, and how to live intentionally. After that we’ll talk about your social circles like how to navigate your family, friends, and professional relationship, and then we’ll end the course by taking a look at your living situation and places you go.
