Hello, and welcome to the last module in the course, what is emotional intelligence and what's in it for me. Our focus in this module will be on steps in my development plan. As we summarize what we've learned in this introduction to emotional intelligence course, we've laid a great foundation on which to build your focused emotional intelligence development planning. We've covered a lot of material in this course, would focus on what emotional intelligence is, what emotional intelligence is not.

What are the five skills and the 15 sub skills of emotional intelligence? We've completed several thought awareness exercises to learn more about ourselves. And we've explored the benefits of emotional intelligence and how it impacts our professional and personal lives. The next series of question This will dig deeper into each of the five emotional intelligence scales with a separate practice course for each of the 15 sub scales. The focus of each course will be to define the sub scale, provide real world examples, and then practice practice practice. You will be encouraged to apply what you're learning to your specific situation, and share your thoughts and questions in our discussion forum.
