Alright, so here we are inside of the KDP publishing now when it comes to selecting in the enrollment for the KDP royalties, now the KDP Select is going to be a little bit of a unique option. The main thing is, is you do you not want to enroll your book in KDP Select and the reason being is that with KDP Select, you naturally have to have your book on Kindle Direct Publishing for 90 days. Nowhere else that's it, and then you can of course you know, enroll it etc and get monetization, but more times than not, what you'll want to do is again, keep that unchecked. You're gonna probably want to select a 35% royalty for the beginning and then eventually what You're going to end up finding is if you want to charge, you know, a free, we're going to end up submitting that to different websites so that Amazon then has this this price comparison or this, this price check where you just reach out to me Oh, no, hey, it's listed over here for free, that should be free as well.
And they instantly you know, usually 24 hours mark it down. So it's free, easy to download. But if it's enrolled in KDP, there'll be a violation and they'll actually remove that book then from their, their library basically. So you don't want to check this. That's why, but afterwards, I haven't really played with this, I haven't really been too interested in it, you may potentially be able to enroll it afterwards into KDP Select, but again, many times you have to be exclusive. That's part of the the deal behind it.
Other than that, the main thing that you're probably just going to look for is Marking as 99 cents to start, publish your Kindle ebook, it's going to say saving, it's going to go through all the formatting, check everything, make sure that it's all complete and done. And then just like that list building 3.0, which is what I ended up renaming it. In the meantime, before the pricing, and I uploaded all of the documents and the information that's kind of what we are going to go over a little bit more in submitting this so that way, it's listed on different networks now, and then it's listed as free. So like I said, Amazon has to price match it. That's the only way to lower their prices. Otherwise, they'll always make it 99 cents, it's a mandatory thing, thing unless you ask them to price match.
