DESCRIPTION:

Important advice about Punctuality - Say Goodbye to Late Departures

Be strict about leaving on time - everyone should be ready, in reception, bags loaded onto the transport, 10 minutes before departure time.
Tell the group that if anyone is late, you will assume they want to make their own way to the next destination, leave instructions on how to get there at their own expense, and leave without them.
I always knock on the door twice as a final warning we are leaving. Remember being late affects all the passengers and even sometimes the route.
If they are late twice, do just that leave them behind. No one else will then be late.
Advise your clients that they should not leave it till the last minute before coming down to check out - the hotel may be full of people checking out, the lifts crowded, the porters busy. They should aim to check out at least half an hour before assembly time (10 minutes before departure time).
It's a good idea to check out early then go for breakfast,...
