DESCRIPTION:
Scenario L
Several members of your group come to you at lunchtime and say that because the weather is poor here, they want to leave this town and depart later today instead of tomorrow morning. This means canceling tonight's accommodation and having an extra night elsewhere.
What do you do?

Consult the rest of the group and do what the majority want or
Agree, as long as the hotel will refund the money in cash so you can pay for an extra night elsewhere or
Refuse, as the whole group is not represented and the others are entitled to have the holiday they paid for, poor weather or otherwise or
 Call head office for advice

Begin with 3. If, however, the whole group wants to move on quickly, you can go on to 2. Never ask the group to decide - that's your job - and don't call head office unless it's a really serious situation; they pay you to make these decisions.
