DESCRIPTION:

What To Advise Clients Before Flying
On long haul flights, it is advisable to drink plenty of water, to eat light meals, to avoid alcohol, and to wear flight socks to help prevent deep vein thrombosis: a blood clot in the vein, which in turn can lead to a stroke.
It is worth mentioning this to clients as in some cases they may be able to purchase flight socks before their return flight. Dehydration is always best avoided and on long haul flights, the air is usually much drier than on land. Alcohol dehydrates you because it encourages your kidneys to filter water out of your blood. Again, it is worth mentioning this so that your clients arrive home healthy and happy after their tour with you.
