Here's what you need to know about basic first aid
You must have an up to date valid first-aid certificate for this job. Most employers will want to sight this certificate for insurances (personal & public). You should always have this referenced in your CV.

D is for Danger - check there are no wires or other hazards about before you do anything at all. You are no use to anyone if you don't reach the casualty - approach with care.
R is for Response - Is the casualty conscious? Gently shake and shout 'Are you alright?' If there is no response shout for help.
S is for Send for help - Send someone for help or try call emergency services yourself.
A is for Airway - Check the casualty's airway is open, without obstructions - tilt the head back and lift the chin.
B is for Breathing - Check that the casualty is breathing by placing your face close to theirs, listen and look for any rise or fall of the chest. If there is no sign of independent breathing, begin mouth to...
