DESCRIPTION:

Arriving at your Accommodation

You should have a rooming list with the full names and passport details of everyone in your group, including yourself, drivers, and guides who are staying at the hotel or campsite.
Take this to the hotel before the group arrives if possible to keep waiting in reception to a minimum, and allocate their room numbers.
Make sure the rooms/facilities are up to the standard your employer has negotiated and do your safety checks now (fire equipment recently inspected, and so on).
You can give out hotel registration cards on the transfer bus or better still, fill them out yourself, leaving only the name and passport number spaces clear (clients' names may be wrongly transcribed during booking, or their passport number changed, so leave this to them). If you can't do this before arrival, do it as soon as you arrive.
Sometimes you may have to drive on to another hotel if the rooms are not up to standard.
Give 1 copy to the reception and keep 1 for yourself....
