What is the Tour Manifest and how to use it:

Most tour companies will give you information about the tour you are leading in the form of a booklet or 'manual'. It is like the tour guide's 'bible': it contains the detailed itinerary, names, and contact details for key personnel in all the places you visit; times of transport, journey duration's, any special local circumstances, as well as advice about places to see and eat, warnings and advice about hotels/people/scams/safety, health or food issues.
As tour dates will differ each time, the itinerary days are referred to as Day One, Day Two, and so on. It can be helpful to pencil in the actual dates on each section and erase them at the end of the tour.
The tour booklet/manual should be updated by each tour guide after every tour (make sure you do it even if others haven't!).
