DESCRIPTION:

Useful advice about scheduling Coach rest stops

Think ahead about when and where you will stop for comfort, Toilet, and/or refreshment breaks. Consult your driver about suitable places. Ideally, somewhere with a good view and/or close to toilets, a shop or a fuel station (to avoid an additional fuel stop later)
Your driver will need breaks, especially on long journeys. Although European and US law dictates the number of hours a driver can drive without rest, this may not be the case in other countries. For your group's safety don't allow a driver to exceed safe driving hours. Your local agent should advise on this
Around every 2-3 hours before each break is acceptable, not longer, but consider the suitability of the area: there's not much point in scheduling a break somewhere far from any facilities unless you are in the depths of the countryside where you have no choice
Allow for photo opportunity stops too, and for people to take a look at a fabulous view
On roadside stops...
