Do you know about using vehicles on tour? This invaluable advice can save lives!
Inspect all vehicles before allowing any of your group on board. Look for:

Tyres - are they in good condition? Where is the spare kept?
Is the area around the wheels free from mud, stones, plants? Is the exhaust pipe clear of any obstructions?
Are the seat belts in good condition?
Are luggage racks adequate? Is there a luggage storage section under the vehicle? If not can the back seat be used safely?
Brief the group on what to do in case of an accident. Follow whatever plan of action your employer has recommended. Don't panic! Be decisive and give clear instructions
Ascertain who has any medical and / or mechanical knowledge
First deal with any casualties and secure the area
Consider warning signs to other vehicles on the road e.g. setting up hazard triangle
Point out the location of florescent hazard jackets, toolkit, and torch
Brief everyone on their role in case of breakdown - anyone not...
