How to make more money while you work
There are opportunities to earn more than your basic pay (usually a daily rate) on tour.

You can expect to get tips at the end of each tour if you've done a good job - but don't rely on it. Some people tip well and others don't like to pay more than the price of the holiday, arguing that they shouldn't have to pay for good service. Or they ran out of money by the end of their tour.
Sometimes clients buy a gift instead - which may or may not be welcome, but it's something at least. Be grateful!
You will certainly get better tips if your group sees that you have gone beyond the 'call of duty'. Only you will know that you've just done your job.
The best compliment is when your group think you've had a great time too, and know nothing of all the extra hours you may have had to put in to ensure things went well. The last thing you want is them feeling guilty or that you've found it tough to be with them
