You should start writing this vitally important document before the end of the tour. You won't have time and you won't remember everything if you leave it till the end. The next tour manager will benefit from your input.A typical end of tour report may include sections on:





Hotel or campsite - location; size/capacity; cleanliness; facilities; any problems/comments?
Transport on tour - the standard of coach/es; type/s of vehicle/make, capacity; drivers' abilities; any problems/comments. Ferries, rail travel - any new information, timetables?
Food and drink - restaurant standards, service, variety, cost, food shops
Group flights - punctuality; special requests e.g. food okay?; seating; any comments?
Local agent - helpful? Any changes?
Local guides - language and narration skills, knowledge, helpfulness, any problems?
Tour accounts and money - any changes from budget/extra or reduced costs?




Head office - liaison effective? ease/speed of communication; issues resolved...
