Things you should know about Personal Liability Insurance
If your working for a tour company, they will have their own policy on what insurance is acceptable on its tours. Generally, they will specify the minimum amount of cover for medical expenses and repatriation costs.
Some companies insist that anyone who does not purchase their travel insurance through them signs a waiver on arrival absolving the tour company of any responsibility if the policy is not sufficiently comprehensive.
It is away recommended you take out your own cover and are fully insured.
Most insurance companies insure us Tour Guides and/or Tour Managers/Leaders based on the following clause:
