DESCRIPTION:

What You Should Know About Airport Check-In

Check each country's airport security rules before traveling. Ask your bus driver if he knows the correct terminal for your flight - double-check if there are different domestic and international terminals as they could be a long way apart. Arrive at least 3 hours before the flight time for an international flight, and 2 hours for internal domestic flights.
If you arrive late, you will lose any rights you may have had if the flight is subsequently canceled or delayed.
You will need the PNR for each passenger and possibly, the ticket number. This is particularly important if any of the earlier flights have been canceled or changed in any way - airlines can sometimes cancel the whole booking if any changes are made to segments of the journey.
If you aren't able to do research at the airport before you arrive, a good place to assemble is at the Meeting Point or at the airline desk land-side.
Check-in is not the best place to head to...
