DESCRIPTION:

Scenario J

You are walking along a busy road in Hong Kong and can't find a pedestrian crossing. You see the bus you need to take approaching a bus stop on the opposite side of the road. You look each way and note that there is time for the group to cross and reach the stop at the other side in time to catch the bus.
Would you lead your group cross the road at this point?
It is illegal in many countries (including China) to cross the road at any place other than a designated pedestrian crossing. Despite this, many people do it and police often turn a blind eye. You cannot take this risk with a group, and it may not be as safe as you think - what if someone stumbles and falls? Do not risk this with your group.
