DESCRIPTION:

Tell them where the breakfast room, lifts/elevators, bar, and swimming pool are located. Make sure you let them know open/close times. Very important! Refer them to the noticeboards.
In campsites make sure everyone knows the name of the site and how to get there and back. Remember there may be more than one exit/entrance. Advice about safest routes (amount of light, away from 'dodgy' or 'unsafe' areas) to take.
Point out hotel or campsite facilities - how much they cost, opening hours, where to get keys/tokens/vouchers. Is hot water available 24/7? Check and advise your group accordingly.
Be discreet - in some countries, unmarried couple sharing is frowned upon (eg illegal to be gay in Russia) so think before giving reception a rooming list - it may be better to write out your own, omitting marital status.
Inform everyone of any campsite or hostel rules, including noise levels, use of the bar, breakages or damage to site equipment
Never share a room or cabin with a client.
You...
