Best Clothes for a Tour Guide
A big thing to take on board in tour leader training is that you probably won't have room in your bag for multiple changes of clothing and although a popular phrase today is 'image is everything' this doesn't apply to tour guides!

Take appropriate clothing i.e. quick-drying, repellent impregnated, sun screening, plain colors.
You'll need a hat, sunglasses and water bottle, and good boots you can wear day in, day out in comfort, plus a pair of flip-flops for the beach/river and sturdy sandals for walking around towns and villages.
Make sure your socks are quick-drying, thick, and comfortable. A travel shirt with adjustable sleeves (button-ups or zip-offs), plus convertible trousers which can be zipped off at both knee and calf level, are essential just about anywhere on an adventure tour.
For coach and cultural tours go for comfortable, non-iron, and mix n match outfits. Short shorts are not suitable, nor are plunging necklines for women or vests for...
