Well done, you've made it to this session, which means you might have somewhat of an idea of the phase or job you want to get into, and which corresponding entry level position best suits your goals. And if you're still at a loss, no worries. This section is all about helping you find your path or passion. And as always begin by standing outside of yourself looking in. Let's begin, shall we? So, in order to become self aware, you have to know what you have, and what you don't have as an individual, your strengths and your weaknesses.
And as cliche as that sounds, I want you to take a moment pause this video if you must, to think about three of your best strengths and three of your weaknesses. What are you most complimented on? What are you most criticized on? If you have problems listing any three, try asking a close friend or someone that knows you well, to be objective in this these for you. Now, strengths and weaknesses can be anything. Be at a trait scale.
Experience or insane passion, there's no defining limitation. Alright, so did I say to pause this video, I'ma stop rambling now and give you some moments of silence to list your thoughts down. Ready? Well, hopefully you've been able to list at least three strengths and three weaknesses. So put them this alongside your other sheets containing your ideal job or phase in the film industry. Or if you did it all in your head, then mentally put those sheets side by side.
Do you see any correlations across information gathered about yourself? Do your strengths fit the job you're looking for? And are your weaknesses not detrimental to us securing that entry level position. We will build upon what we'd get it in the next set of video slides regarding how to identify your current standing as a potential candidate for a job in the film industry based on your level of experience, skill and passion
