Transcript

Hi, I'm at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. I thought I'd do a brief introductory video. Since I've been recording my series now for over a year conversations. I thought it might be good to let you know what you will learn. If you will pay attention to these videos, my experience over many years of working in the area of financial systems, quantitative structured data systems, if something's of interest to us in this series. I've recorded my videos as I have flown around the world and been in various locations, trying to take advantage of the best shots that I could find in those locations.

What I've tried to explain within these videos has been the principles behind financial systems, but not just financial systems as in the general ledger, or accounting systems, because the principles behind the financial systems actually undergird all major business systems. At the core of every major business process is a ledger. And those Ledger's often called subsidiary ledgers are based upon financial processes. So I tried to expose what the principles are for those financial systems, how systems work today, what our data looks like. And I tried to give a view of where I think our systems need to go in the future. For example, I think in some instances, we need to build consolidated data supply chains.

Consolidated data supply chains, combine data from transactions into balances and post those balances before producing reports on new systems, which should develop which would be equivalent to maybe enhanced search engines would be a metric engine, which allow us to develop much more rapidly different kinds of quantitative outputs that we need to understand our world in addition to recording in different locations, I also record on different modes of travel that I take. I also try to show the trends of what I think will happen in the future, from blockchain and from next generation MRP systems, to how we've developed those systems from the past, what the history looks like for systems that have been developed over a long period of time. There's a little bit of humor inside of here, such as in this video, where a nice serious video about financial systems turns into a dance routine going on behind me.

I hope through the course of this in these dry topics, that you'll find something humorous and something interesting to learn more about financial systems. From conversations with get the best financial vlog there is
