Words you will need to know

Practicals: A light that is household, not rented at a gear house.
Copy: A confirmation that the person you are talking to hears and understands the instructions they are given. 
Walkie-check: person turning their walkie on ensuring that it is functioning, if their walkie is working someone should return the call by saying “good check.” 
Moving On: The shot/setup is complete and the team is moving on to the next setup or scene. 
Coverage: Getting a variety of different angles/shots filmed for a scene. 
Fly it in/Flying In: Request the something (prop, gear, cast) is brought to set/something (prop, gear, cast) is coming to set.
Eyes on: please look at the monitor
