Okay, let's talk about the most basic iron palm strike this iron palm strike number one, it's just a straight on strike, where you're going to deliver it, your hands are going to be kind of held loose like this not going to be firm and firm and rigid. They're just gonna be loose. And you're gonna strike with the palm here. This is the soft part here. And it hits gonna hit solid, like, kinda like a slap, but it's like a solid slap. So you're kind of like this.
And the fingers right before contact, your fingers will kind of flare out like that. slight turn of the hips. My feet are shoulder to shoulder with level with lower the camera facing see my feet Okay, just the point there is just that. This is like A natural style fighting not like wide deep stances, your feet tend to be shoulder width apart. You know, weights even tends to be even 5050. And when we do the strike, you're going to rotate those hips forward.
So from here, rotate those hips. If I was throwing up with the front hand, I would rotate the hips this way. Okay. I'm gonna demonstrate this on the tree. It's gonna be my little buki for a moment. Okay, you can see that striking go to the body or to the upper face region, you can also go like maybe, you know, like maybe about the waist up, we've got a different strike we're going to show later on.
I'm going to add a few blocks here. The blocks in iron palm tend to be very basic, just like sweeps out of the way, and some of the basic strikes or other blocks and that type of sort of thing. That is the most basic way to fight with iron Paul. Okay, using those types of sweet blocks and the straight on Palm strikes. Now a variation, you can strike with the heel palm of your hand focus in here, I'm going to do a couple of strikes to those are still straight on, same type of thing. My hands will tend to be more in position, ready to go.
When I do those type of strikes, same rotation with the hips, same shoulder width, you know, feet shoulder width fighting type of stance yet, and then slight rotation here, hit hit yet. I'm going to show you those two Okay, that just sort of gives you an idea. That stripe works okay? Again, that's the most basic way to fight straight on straight in. Anything comes at you can sweep out of the way smother it, lock it, push it down, you know kind of walking all the way. I'll do a separate video for the action you know more in depth on the blocks of use, but for now, that's just the basic straight on iron palm strike, okay, two hand is open like this and striking with the whole palm and it hits almost like a suction cup so gets back, straight on.
Okay, and then the second one is more the heel palm hits, focuses right and he hits like that. Okay.
