Okay, this is hanging back. Just a typical sandbag it, I've got sand in it, and it probably weighs like 40, somewhere between 40 and 45 pounds. It's pretty heavy. It's pretty sturdy. What you're going to do, I'm going to just practice start out, this is going to be the first strike that you practice, you're just going to do the straight strike. So that's the iron palm, we're just here, and you're going to hands gonna open when your fingers are loose, and then you'll open up, strike the whole palm area here.

You should hear pop noise. The other palm, you can do this with the heel, Paul here, and you focus into here. What I'm going to demonstrate the flat palm first. Okay, Right hand, left hand, notice there's a slight twist to my body here. Okay. Just Like this right here, when you start out, put the gel in your hands and every, you know, maybe even five strikes you'll put the gel on.

Well make sure you've got a liberal use of gel, especially with the hanging bag. Okay, kind of gives you an idea how to work on this. When you do this, again, your hand is going to go. You know, it's like this and it hits when you hit that full flat Flat palm there, and you should hear a popping noise. Okay? Doesn't matter which hand you do, it should hear popping noise when you do the heel palm, which I'll do next.

That's more of a thought, but it should be a very solid thought. Okay, this is the heel palm. Me focusing right here. Okay, when you start out like that puts a lot more, a lot harder on your hands. So, typically what I advise at the beginning level beginning meaning just you're starting out with this heavy bag, I would work on doing like maybe not even five, like maybe just do one or two good strikes, and you can just sort of tap it. And I would do that like once a week and used it, ciao.

And then I would build up from there. So I would do, I would literally start out with like maybe two strikes. You know, put it together. I know it sounds kind of low, but you're going to build up pretty fast with us. The second week, I would go, you know, maybe double that four strikes, third week, you know, and gold go to five strikes and five strikes is a good place to hold. Do that for a couple weeks, then you can add in, you know, go to 678 910 work your way up to doing, you know, 10 good strikes on the right 10 good strikes on the left, that's a good place to be.

Work your way up to that. And when you get proficient with that, then you can advance beyond that and go to like maybe 25 good strikes on the right 25 good strikes on the left, it's pretty good when you're doing that, you know, you're hitting, and it's going to apply to, you know, everything else that you're doing, going to notice that when you do the conditioning, you should notice that you get a greater sensitivity in the meditations that you're doing and you should feel the chief flowing through the hands. It does have an effect on that. Remember, liberal use of did Chow lots of good job. Use it before the training, use it after the training. It will help keep your hands healthy, help keep them in good shape.

I cannot over stress that enough. If you do have problems with your hands, maybe your hands are banged up or whatever, give them a soak in like Epsom salt and use the winter green, rubbing alcohol make a little mixture of that. Sometimes I take bass you know a really sore, whatever, you know, you can soak your arms. So if your hands make a, you know use, you know, warm to hot water would have been taken without burning your skin sort of thing. Just you can soak your hands in there. That helps too.
