DESCRIPTION: Be yourself. Write about what you know. You need to provide value to your audience and the only way you can do that is to blog about stuff you know. Be honest. Write honestly about who you are, what you do and what you want to achieve, and the passion will come. Don’t think you have to pretend, like I did for a short while, that you’re cleverer than you are. When I started blogging, I thought I’d have to know more about design than I actually did. This was a big mistake because people will always see through it. Be specific. You need to get specific with your blog post titles. Dive into the details of your niche and split your knowledge up into the smallest pieces possible. Write specific headlines with lots of keywords that your audience will be searching for and be interested in. You will get more traffic from Google, visitors will be more engaged with your writing and, furthermore, they’ll be more likely to buy from you.
