Are you thinking about something that happened yesterday or perhaps something from work or an issue from home? We often do not realize how many things we are thinking about that take us away from focusing on something that is important. When we realize the value of mindfulness, we are beginning to realize the value of every moment, and most importantly, the value of our time. We must ask ourselves, why is it important to be mindful? Being mindful involves bringing one&rsquo;s awareness back from the past or future and into the present. The thinking mind is preoccupied with thoughts from the past or the future. It takes us out of the present moment and reality and puts us in a holding state.
