Good, you found three to six artists good. Yeah, so proud of you. We're going to either put them onto an iPad, or print them out so we can copy or trace them and do it multiple times do it, like even the same drawing like five times, so you can really get it into your head. Now let's talk about copying versus stealing. So copying is something that literally every single person in the world does. People will try to tell you different, but it's not true.

This is actually a great book by Austin kleon. It talks about stealing, like an artist goes over the difference between stealing and passing something off as your own. So that's the difference between copying something and you're getting inspiration from their stuff, but you're changing it and you're moshing, multiple styles into one that's copy, stealing or fraud do is to take something that is exactly the same. Put out on the internet or wherever and say that you did it, then you made it. So if you're posting something that is very similar to the artist you are taking it from, always credit them and say that this was an exercise that you were copying it. Yeah.

So be careful about that. But don't be afraid to copy other people's stuff. For a learning experience. That's the difference learning or telling people you made it yourself. Once you were done copying all the drawings, you're going to put them away. Toss them away, and throw them away.

And you're going to use your imagination and start making your own character. What did you like about some of the drawings? Did you like he eyes from one of them? Did you like the body shape from another? Did you get another idea? From yourself while you're doing that, though similar, so just fill a page with drawings.

Even if you draw something you think is it right away? It's always best to keep trying. Because you never know, there might be something 10 times better than that first idea. You said, let me know. But then you'll know. So you can come back to it.

Look, you know, you're trying to find what you like, you keep playing around with shapes and you have something that you know, you're gonna want to draw. That's it, you've had great. If you're not overly ecstatic about how it looks, don't worry. Just keep going. Keep drawing that character, choose your favorite one and go from there. That's what I did.

So my first drawings, I was like, Oh, yeah, this is great, but it wasn't quite what I wanted. So as I kept drawing it just change and change and that will probably happen regardless.
