Stump Cabin Stream
This is a meditation connecting the listener to the symbols of the unconscious mind. It is based on gestalt therapy and the work of Carl Jung, looking at the symbols of the unconscious mind. Carl Jung has said that every part of the dream is a part of ourselves and by associating with the dream we can receive information from our unconscious mind. Generally, the stump represents our past, the cabin represents our present and the stream represents our future. After listening to the meditation, write down your experience and then look at the messages in relation to your past present, and future to glean whatever messages your unconscious mind wishes to convey to you. Exploring the messages with a partner is very helpful, as we do not always see the messages as clearly for ourselves as we do for others.
