The matrix is based on a workable theory of language and cognition known as Relational Frame Theory. Language is the way humans add meaning to their experiences. This is not a full summary but rather is intended to deepen your knowledge about what is going on behind the scenes. It is not required for you to do effective Matrix work. 

Language can work for us and against us. Knowing the difference allows us to be flexible and continue on our journey when the going gets tough.
