It is now time to share your book with the world What format will your book be available in eBook Audiobook Paperback Hardcover

When it comes to printing and distributing your book, the choice is not as obvious as it may seem. While Amazon is the leader in book distribution and sales, there are some limitations. Refer back to your planning from Module 1 to decide which pathway makes the most sense based on your goals.

The primary ways authors distribute are through Amazon, BN.com, the trunk of their car, the back of the room, their author website, festivals or events, a printer service, Smashwords, or other ebook sites. All of the options can be a bit overwhelming, however, this section will break down some of the general options you have.

Hybrid publishing is designed for the busy business owner or working individual. If you are not blessed with the time to oversee all aspects of distribution, contracting with a specialty publisher to produce, print, and distribute your book is your saving grace. If you hire them to manage the entire process, you will pay an upfront cost ranging from $5,000 to $20,000. Remember, this can be more or less depending on your specific needs.
