DESCRIPTION: Writing and preparing your children's manuscript differs from that of a traditional novel. The basic foundation of the manuscript should have 1" margins all around, indents going out to .5" for each new line of prose, and none for rhyme. Use a 12 pt. a font like Times New Roman. You have the option to double space for prose, but do not double space for rhyme. You can communicate page turns using parentheses (). This is optional. Depending on how you decide to communicate with your illustrator will determine if you need to add art notes.
