Greetings, I'm so excited you have decided to join the course. Please take your time. This program was designed for you start developing a consistent meditation practice. Please be kind to yourself and take your time. If you are able to do something daily, do so, if not do it when you can. We can be so goal oriented that we want to have a tangible outcome for meditating. Just remember, it is about "just doing it" not about how well I did it. ;) Some days you may be able to sit for five minutes, some days you may be able to sit for 10 minutes...either is great! Just sit when you can and pay attention to how you feel before, during and after you sit. Note: If you feel you want to stay in one section longer, please do so. Take your time. This is a self paced course. Trust your instincts on how to move through it. The KEY is the consistency of the practice. If possible, try to meditate in at or near the same time daily and in the same physical location. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I hope you find these simple practices to be beneficial on your life's journey. It took me years to really begin an intentional meditation practice. And that practice changes as I change. I'm continuing to learn, evolve and grow and give myself room to continue to do just that! Research states that our mind likes to have something to do. I believe it is important to train your brain, be kind to your mind, and pay attention to what you are thinking and how you are feeling.
