Over years of conditioning, we have formed many attitudes about others and ourselves that affect how we relate to others and ourselves in different roles. Examples may include our attitudes toward parenting, various role relationships like employer/employee, and other ethnic, national, and religious groups. We sometimes refer to these attitudes as stereotypes or biases.
