Let me take you through the challenges in implementing the we program in my session, here we can classify into three areas one is during data collection some challenges are during analysis some challenges of the similarly during implementation some challenges are there. So, I will take you through the challenges and I will also recommend some other solution approach to deal with the challenges. So, first let us see during data collection, what are the typical problem faced by the team. One is lack of rigor in collecting the data rightly in each element. Again for any implementation in Chile it requires a lot of interest and passion to collect the data rightly to classify the Data rightly it took a lot of interest and passion is required. Sometimes teams not showing interest of the data collection, they're in the same level like an initial way of measuring the effectiveness.

So, what is required is here the solution approach top management commitment and involvement is really required to essentially collect the data and see the data and get some sense of out of the data collection because the real goldmine lies in the shop floor that will come out only during the data collection stages. So, you get top management support is really required at the initial stage during the data collection. And the second problem the team face during the data question is lack of standards for different models or components leads to error we discussed during a performance calculation we need standard time we need Standard Quantity to be produced to compare against actual quantity. So we need some set of standards Without the we cannot rightly calculate the performance level. So, what is the solution approach in most of the SME organization, we cannot expect the standards establishment in a full fledged environment at least to start with let us map the standard time or Standard Quantity for each component or each model and declared to the team is the Standard Quantity expected per hour or per shift or something that will give us some base reference with that we can start compared with the actuals moving forward this can be fine too.

So, the standard creation against lies with the management before in shaping these kind of improvements. Third thing is looking of wrong entry in each element. This something like wrong entry of losses in different buckets. Instead of putting in utilization people used to put in the performance or other scenarios within the team. Decision instead of putting in metal shutters early putting in the mission breakdown these are normal and expected behavior from the team during any new in shape us all we can avoid this again it lies with the supervisor and managers how you're going to daily calibrate those data at the end of the shoot our end of the day makes a lot of difference the moment you start giving our news to our team, the moment you start correcting their mistakes on a daily basis on a ship basis. Eventually it is the errors in the booking and management reviews.

Next phase during analysis stage II have seen many organization over a period of time this data collection becomes routine job and there is no rerun analysis of the data patterns and the root cause deviation by the management again the solution approach laced with the management only to give the momentum till the end Test the success of this program. once in a week, the management team should review the data should increase the team to give the pattern of any new findings of all the problems. This will give you motivation to the download team to collect the data with the rigor as well as to analyze the data with a sense, again, lack of clarity on analyzing the data. What does that mean the lack of clarity on analyzing the data, it is something like data is there, but the team doesn't know how to analyze the data.

It's a purely educational issue, it can be easily overcome by educating the team how to do the problem solving the next stages implementation stage, correctly action implementation stage during this stage also we are seeing some problem faced by the team. What are those on his lack of clear action plan and accountability on improvements implementation after that recollection and after analysis The next stage is creating an action plan and implementing the action yet again, what lacks is lack of clarity and the action plan and lack of clarity and the accountability of who is going to do the improvement in the absence of the the data collection analysis is not going to. The very important tip in any improvement in short is bringing clarity on the implementation plan and making the people accountable. The solution approaches again, it lies with the management or the management spends time on making a clear action plan and making the team accountability makes a lot of difference than their implementation.

Another challenge we're seeing in most of the organization is lack of seeing the correlation between employee employment and business profitability. Again, this point relates the management having implemented this way program, we need to see the correlation in the world Increasing 10% Is there any correlation with the business profitability or not that has we checked by the management on a frequent basis because right CLI we selected the critical equipment the critical command only we're improving the way in the critical equipment is improving, obviously, it should reflect in the business profitability, if it is not improving, probably there is something wrong in the choosing the critical equipment or critical facility or there is wrong in the data collection or wrong in the analysis or wrong and the action plan so it is a responsibility of the management team to calibrate frequently Is there any correlation between only improvement and the business profitability or not so in nutshell, like any other initiative, this only implementation program has its own challenges at the shop floor level, but most of the things are awareness related rigor later related from the management team management team involves right from the day recollection educating the team monitoring on a daily basis, weekly basis, encouraging the team to come up with the alternative solution encouraging the team to come with a problem solving methodology tools and techniques analysis then it allows the team to take the success but nutshell to summarize the problems faced in each stage of stages of the implementation of in essence, the problems which are discussing are easy to solve by the management focus on environment
