DESCRIPTION: Here is a longer practice of Bending Spine.
Note: It can take time to open the spine. When you first begin practice, your hands may or may not reach the floor. To support your back as your capacity increases, you can place a chair, stool, block, or book under your hands as you reach towards the floor. As your spine opens over time, you can gradually decrease the height of the support.
Remember two of our most important mottos: Relax and do your best, and always balance effort with relaxation. Wherever you are in your practice, make your best effort and allow Acceptance and your Inner Smile to facilitate your body's gradual opening.
