DESCRIPTION: Natural motions need not be practiced and learned because they come naturally. Unnatural motions must be learned as they do not come naturally.

The feet swing in a parallel motion as a person walks. But, in combat, in pursuit of an opponent or retreat from him, the feet do not remain parallel in motion.
They twist and slide and stagger. Therefore, it is a good discipline to practice twisting and sliding, and staggering.

This is the root of improvisation.
Improvisation does not serve to be displayed in performance, though it can be. Improvisation is the cultivation of quickness in the field of composition.

Words take their true form in song. Each word uttered unto me, must be sung back unto thee.
And the dance which is inspired by the song which sprung from words is the rhythm of living.
