Hello everyone. In this lecture I'm going to be talking about my personal struggles, trying to manage my time efficiently. So I can further my credibility and hopefully provide some inspiration to you. Let's start out with explaining a bit about who I am and what I've been able to accomplish with proper self management techniques to maximize my time. Now many people consider me to be the Shawn of all trades because there really isn't something I won't do. Once I figured out how to increase my productivity levels, I wanted to work towards accomplishing everything I could get my hands on.

Now, some of the many trades I'm currently involved in and have found success in is being a full time recruiter, youtube content creator, CEO and founder of a social media agency, beach volleyball coach and trainer, and now an online Professor as this is my second course of many more to come. Plus, my actively doing All of these things, I never feel like I'm running out of time or that I have a busy lifestyle. In fact, my life has gotten so efficient that I have the opposite problem most people have. I feel like I'm never busy enough. The second I start working towards a new achievement, I reevaluate my life and make it that much more efficient. Oh, and I still find plenty of time for hobbies every single day, effectively managing yourself in the time you have opens the doors to so many opportunities.

So with that being said, When does the need for time management or increasing productivity usually hit us when we don't have enough time? Right? That's exactly where I was. At one point. I feel swamped with a million tasks that needed to be done and just felt hopeless. Now I first started doing lots of research into how to manage my time effectively.

When I was in college. I was a dual major student. Were towards building out my YouTube channels into the career that you know, it's created for me today. But of course, the problem was I never had enough time. No matter what I did sleep less ditch class, work out less or skip out on friends. Nothing really seemed to give me more time.

And that's exactly the realization I had, you get 24 hours in a day. That's it. There's no creating more time. This is what pushed me into studying the art of self management and how to increase my productivity to make the most of my time. And well let's just say I caught on pretty quick to this concept. My freshman year I was struggling to do anything.

Well in college. I only had three commitments class, YouTube friends, that's it. But by my senior year, I added over 20 commitments, and I was real good at them. I graduated with you know, 3.7 GPA grew my YouTube channel to over 300,000 subscribers, sorted the largest sport club on campus and competed in National scholarly competitions for my school. And that's just a few of the commandments I took on, I learned that instead of trying to increase my productivity, when I didn't have enough time, it was about getting ahead of the curve. It was about evaluating my life and making the necessary changes now to save me tons of time in the future.

And this is when I started using tempo methodology, which is one of the many concepts we'll discuss in this course. But I am truly fortunate from mastering My time has changed my life. Now it's time to help change yours. And hopefully my story has inspired you a bit throughout the course I will be discussing and covering techniques that I've personally helped me along my journey techniques that aren't really found anywhere else online. And keep in mind that if I knew what I know, now, my productivity levels would have allowed me to achieve so much more. So time is very valuable, and it's pointless to waste it.

So my goal is to give you that knowledge to boost your life and be as productive as possible. Now, in the next lecture I'll be breaking down the course so I cannot wait to see you then.
