This video gives you a demonstration of how to upload sound using Hotmail, and audacity and also how to export the sound and use it in your projects. As you can see, I've used the program ice cream to record my screen. So coming out of that I'm entering into my Hotmail, typing in the hotmail address, and then I'm opening up my screen where you can see my file audacity demo file. I'm opening it up, and then I downloaded pressing the download button on Outlook live.com. Now I'm opening up audacity, and I am opening up the file that I downloaded called audacity sound demo from the Downloads folder. It imports the sound as you can see, and I play it and edit it.
So I can press the View button and zoom in to the areas that I want to address. Then they highlight it by clicking down my control button. And I can edit and move things around just by copying it and pasting it into the various places. Here I can generate Using the Generate two, I can pick an area and silences like so it's a very handy tool for getting rid of breaths and things, I can highlight it and press Ctrl X to delete. And they can copy and paste the areas of sound like so I can also highlight an effects button. And then using the tab effect, I can select all and then change the speed of it.
Or I can change the noise inside the file. And then I can edit the sound file to do different things that I wanted to do, I can change the speed, make it faster, but I have to use a different tool to change the speed because if I change the speed in Audacity, it affects both the tempo and the pitch. Whereas if I change the speed using a different program called video pad, it does it separates the tempo and the pitch, making it easier to change this tempo without actually changing the pitch. This is important You can take a noise profile by clicking on the button on noise reduction tap get noise profile. And then you can drag the cursor higher or lower. Usually a low cursor of about 17 is enough.
When you're done with your file, you need to export it as a WAV file. When you press the export key file export, then you have to fill in the details of your song with your name and your details. So once it's fine, you save it as a WAV file, then you can import it into the video pad professional by NCH software. And then you can put it on the storyboard or the timeline exactly where you want it and edit it much more conveniently on this program, especially going through audio audio effects. You can do things like fading out your sound fading in your sound, making noise removal, also normalizing it putting in echoes distortions, amplified sound reverb hearing it All sorts of things reverberation and even changing the pitch using the audio effects file.
